The Ripple Effect
The Cook Child Foundation - Uganda was created by Thadeo Yuda Ssentamu, a young man of extraordinary compassion with a tireless drive to help those around him.
Himself sponsored through a Catholic charity since childhood, Ssentamu excelled in school and went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts with Education (BAED) - Honors and a Master’s degree in Economic Planning and Policy (MEP) from Makerere University.
Upon returning to Kalisizo near where he grew up and witnessing the dire need of poverty-stricken and orphaned children there, he was compelled to found an organization to improve their lives, naming his new foundation 'Cook' after the American couple whose support had meant so much in his own life.

Make a Difference...
With your support, each one of these children can follow in the footsteps of Thadeo, and in turn potentially affect the lives of countless more, creating a brighter future for Uganda. For the cost of one specialty coffee a week, you can cover a child's school fees and provide a safe and healthy environment, education, and a chance to rise up out of poverty. CCF is a 501(c)(3) charity and your donations are tax-deductible.
